A Little Bit About Me...

I’m Jen - a former primary school teacher, mum of twins and the founder of Body Brain Belief CIC.

My work today comes from two decades of my own experiences with stress, health, and how deeply our emotional world shapes the way we eat, think and care for ourselves.

I started dieting when I was 11.


From that age, food became tied to how I felt about myself - my worth, my body, my confidence. As I got older, that pressure simply grew. I spent years believing my health issues, stress and lack of energy were because
I wasn’t trying hard enough, when really, I was exhausted, overwhelmed and carrying more than I ever admitted.

When I moved into teaching, the chronic stress I experienced pushed everything to its limits. I loved my job, but the pressure, emotional load and lack of support made me realise something important:


people are struggling quietly, and nobody is asking why.

That’s where Body Brain Belief began.

Why I do this work

I’m passionate about early prevention - building solid foundations for emotional and physical wellbeing long before people reach burnout, disconnection or crisis.

I believe that if we help leaders feel calmer, clearer and more supported, children grow up seeing self-respect, healthy coping and steady habits modeled every day.


That’s why my work focuses on:

• parents of younger children
• women who are stretched thin
• companies and businesses who are leading the way for staff
• staff who support children and need support themselves

Because the earlier we help people understand their body, their emotions and their behaviours…


the better they feel long-term.

My Approach

My work isn’t therapy.


It’s not another diet.


And it’s not about telling people what to do.

It’s a calm, relaxed space where you can explore:


• why you feel the way you feel
• how stress, sleep, food, routines and pressure all connect
• what your body and mind actually need
• gentle, realistic ways to take care of your long-term health
• how to change from within, without shame or overwhelm

Everything I do is built around three pillars:

Body. Brain. Belief.
• supporting the body with simple, healthy habits
• understanding how the brain reacts to stress and pressure
• building confidence and self-belief so change feels possible

I care deeply about asking why - not judging behaviour, but understanding it.


Because behaviour always makes sense when you look underneath it.
